Review

I'm not always too keen on eBooks which contain interviews. The reason is that many of these types of eBooks are hastily put together and the answers from the interviewees are perfunctory email-based answers (presumably there is some course out there suggesting that interviews are a quick way to create eBook content).

This eBook however is different from the usual run of the mill eBook of interviews, in that it's quite clear that the author, Louis Allport, has gone to considerable trouble to properly interview his subjects - and he has managed to get some quite revealing and in-depth answers.

In fact, I would say that the author of this eBook, Louis Allport has made a habit of writing interview eBooks the right way. His other works include:

This eBook is an interview with affiliate marketer Neil Shearing who runs a number of web sites, markets other people's products through affiliate links, and also sells his own products too.

There are 10 sections in the eBook which cover a variety of topics, including, among others:

How to protect affiliate links from commission theft
Creating mini-sites to generate affiliate commissions
Creating eBooks to generate affiliate commissions
Generating affiliate profits from content sites
Creating and running a successful ezine
Some thoughts on PopUps
Using articles to generate affiliate commissions
Promoting using discussion forums

Louis' questions, and Neil Shearing's answers are definitely interesting, and I think most affiliates could certainly learn a thing or two (at least!) from the information provided.

Additionally, I ought to mention that you can download the entire content of the book as audio (in MP3 format). I think this is a nice touch.

The eBook is easy to navigate, well organized, and I should also tell you that this eBook comes with resell rights, which is a nice bonus.

Finally, the copyright date on this eBook is 2002. There are a number of hyperlinks in this eBook, and I haven't attempted to test them all. So, it is possible that some of the linked web sites may no longer be available. Even if this is the case (and I don't know that it is), I don't think this would be a major drawback, as the interview questions and answers are the main value of the eBook.

Conclusion

Overall, I enjoyed reading this eBook, and can say that I picked up one or two interesting tips myself.

My overall rating is therefore highly recommended, and I've decided to make this an Editor's Choice.
